Gareth Bale has announced that he is retiring from the club and international football
Gareth Bale has revealed that he will be ending his career in both club and international football. The five-time champion of the Champions League last competed in last month’s World Cup in Qatar, where Wales was eliminated in the group round. One of the most decorated football players in British history is the Welshman. He has five Champions League titles to his name, all with Real Madrid. During his tenure in Spain, he also won three La Liga championships, three FIFA Club World Cups, three Super Cups, the Supercopa de Espana, and the Copa de Rey. The 33-year-decision old’s to hang up his boots was confirmed on Monday after it had been long-rumored that he would decide on his future after the event.
