With the recent update and release of Chapter 3, Epic Games included sliding as a new movement feature to Fortnite. In combat, players can now slide, making them a moving target tougher to attack. This guide will show you how to slide in Fortnite on consoles and computers.
How to Slide in Fortnite
- On PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and other controllers slide the Right Stick inward.
- Sliding on PC with Left Ctrl Key
It’s as easy as holding the crouch button. Stand up and crouch; sprint and slide ahead. Facts about sliding: One can only slip as far as their momentum will allow them to. Second, sliding downhill allows you to travel further and faster.
You can also crouch or slide depending on how long you hold the button down. The crouch button can also be used to cancel a slide.
