What Time Does The Rings of Power Season 2 Come Out?
Season 2 of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will debut on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 3:00 AM ET (midnight PT) on Amazon Prime Video. The first three episodes will be released simultaneously, giving viewers an exciting start to the new season.
To watch “The Rings of Power” Season 2, you’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription, which costs $8.99 or $14.99 per month for a full Prime membership.
New subscribers can take advantage of the 30-day free trial to watch the first seven episodes for free as they’re released throughout the month.
The Rings of Power Season 2 Episode Schedule

What to Expect in The Rings of Power Season 2
Season 2 of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will continue exploring the Second Age of Middle-earth, with a focus on the return of the Dark Lord Sauron.
After being unmasked as Halbrand in Season 1, Sauron will work to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to control the peoples of Middle-earth.
The season will also showcase the Siege of Eregion, one of Tolkien’s most epic battles, as the forces of good struggle to hold onto what matters most. Co-showrunner J.D.
Payne has promised that Season 2 will “level up” from the first season, with the creative team having a better understanding of the characters and the world of Middle-earth.
