As the newest technical troubles are revealed on Twitter, Reddit is down tonight, with servers temporarily unavailable.
The support staff has offered some updates on what is going on, with the most recent server updates, including what is being done to bring everything back online, being published via social media.
For the time being, Reddit users are getting an error notice that confirms that all servers are currently busy, along with the error code: 503.
The current Reddit post doesn’t give an ETA for when everything will be back online, but based on the latest information, things should be back to normal this morning.
A message from Reddit adds: “Error rates are elevated, and requests are failing. We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.”
Reddit down reports started pouring at around 3 a.m. BST, according to independent outage monitor Down Detector.
At the time of writing, downdetector.com had received over 40,000 reports of Reddit downtime, with Down Detector UK receiving over 45,000.
