The next big event in Pokemon Go is the Sinnoh Throwback Challenge 2020.
Sinnoh Throwback Challenge Celebration Ticket – 20th May
In a few days, the Sinnoh Throwback Challenge 2020 Timed Research will be beginning, which means you are getting closer to accessing the Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Special Research.
In case you missed any of the previous challenges you can purchase a ticket in the shop which will give you extra bonuses.
Finishing the challenges or purchasing the ticket will get you these rewards:
- Encounters with Galarian Meowth and Galarian Stunfisk! It is their first appearance in Pokémon GO.
- Research tasks which lead to encounters with Pokémon that are originally discovered in the Unova region, such as Snivy, Tepig, Blitzle, Audino, Darumaka, Genesect, Gothita, and Oshawott.
- An opportunity to get exciting rewards, including Professor Willow’s glasses which is an exclusive avatar item.
The ticket will cost $7.99 and they can’t be purchased with the Pokecoins.
Tickets will go live on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 1:00 p.m and will remain until Monday, June 8, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.
Sinnoh Special Quest Update by Data Miners
According to Data Miners, a reward is getting changed from the Special Quest Update. The report says, before you were going to catch a Patrat but now will be receiving a Darumaka.

The announcement for the Sinnoh Throwback Challenge has now been officially revealed and the dates have been confirmed for the 22nd May until the 29th of May.

- Throwback Challenge 2020: Johto Timed Research: Friday, May 8, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, May 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. local time
- Throwback Challenge 2020: Hoenn Timed Research: Friday, May 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, May 22, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. local time

Sinnoh Throwback Challenge Bonuses
These are the Sinnoh features and bonuses to look forward to.
- Pokémons such as Cherubi and Glameow will be appearing more frequently in the Sinnoh region.
- Pokémons which are discovered in the Sinnoh region will also be available to battle in raids.
- These Pokémons will be hatching from 7 km Eggs: Cranidos, Shieldon, Glameow, Chingling, Bonsly, Happiny, Gible, Munchlax, Riolu, and Mantyke.
- Pikachu wearing a Lucario hat will also be appearing in the wild.
- You should even find a Shiny Glameow.
- Field Research tasks will reward you encounters with Pokémon which are originally discovered in the Sinnoh region.
- One-hour Star Piece duration, one-hour Incense duration, and one-hour Lucky Egg duration bonuses would be active.
