If you want to unlock a range of classic automobiles to add to your garage, keep an eye out for Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds as you ride across Mexico. With Forza Horizon 5, these hidden gems kept up in barns resurface, and they’re strewn across Mexico’s jungles, fields, and mountains.
As with past Barn Finds, you’ll need to keep an eye out for rumors from the Horizon Festival employees as you progress through the Horizon Adventure campaign in order to locate the lonely barns and the vintage automobile hidden therein.
A 1953 Chevrolet Corvette, a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS, and a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO are among the 14 automobiles hidden in barns in Forza Horizon 5. Here’s how to find all 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds in Mexico, as well as where to look for them.
How to find and restore Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds cars
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to seek out all of the Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds right at the start of the game. You must first obtain a rumor from one of the many representatives of the Horizon Festival, such as Alex or Alejandra.
The majority of these rumors appear to be linked to your progress through the Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Adventure campaign, although some can be obtained through other ways, such as purchasing the La Cabaa property in the northwest portion of the map, which grants you access to the Barn Find rumor. Just before we finished the Horizon Adventure, we were able to collect all 14 Barn Finds.
When you have a rumor, look for the large purple circle with a barn emblem on your map. You must go to the correct portion of the map to find the barn, which is located within this purple circle.
From here, look for the barn itself in the region depicted on your map. You’re looking for a white building with yellow front doors. Drive up to it once you’ve discovered one, and a cutscene will play in which your character and a Horizon rep open the barn to show a rusting classic car in desperate need of restoration. Even after you collect the car, you’ll be able to view the barn’s location on your map so you know which car came from which barn. You may also send and receive gift cars from other players using empty barns!
The car will be added to your collection after you’ve recovered it, but it won’t be useable until it’s fixed. This takes time, however, it can be sped up by buying in-game Credits (CR) to fix the car immediately. The amount of time it takes to restore a car is proportional to the CR value of the repairs required, with the cost of repairs reducing with time and serving as a timer.
Some cars, such as the GMC Jimmy, require less than an hour to restore and cost less than 100,000 CR to do so, yet the Ferrari 250 GTO will take many hours and cost more than 30 million CR to restore. When the car is entirely fixed, you’ll receive an in-game message allowing you to collect and use it. To get a repaired Barn Find car, go to one of your houses and click on the ‘Garage’ link to go to the Barn Finds page. Any restored car will declare that it is ready to be collected on its icon.
We’ve listed the locations of all 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds below. To begin, instead of driving around every inch of the purple rumor area in a car, you can use Drone Mode under the ‘Creative Hub’ tab of the pause menu to control a drone and survey the purple rumor area to find the barn. In addition, most barns have a dirt road leading up to them from the main road. These tracks aren’t indicated on the map, but you should be able to find them by flying down any roads in the rumor area with the drone. Finally, tidy the map by limiting the map filters to only show Barn Finds and Landmarks.
Barn Finds locations in Forza Horizon 5
The locations of all 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds in Mexico, as well as the cars stored within, are listed below. The player icon is positioned at the start of the dirt track that goes to the barn on the map photos below, so use those for easy access to the barns. The vehicles are also listed in the order in which we unlocked them, though you may unlock them in a different sequence.
Ford Racing Escort 1967
The Ford Racing Escort Barn can be found here. Find your way to the volcano’s summit. Look for the ‘La Gran Caldera’ label on the map, which is located in Mexico’s northwest corner. The barn is located exactly above the letter L in the word ‘La.’ To get to the barn quickly, take the dirt track that leads off the wide hairpin and turn on the dirt road.
Jimmy 1970 GMC
The Jimmy Barn Find is located in the Cascadas De Agua Azul river area, so you’ll need an off-road car to get there. A gravel path leads down into the Cascadas River area from the adjacent Atlantes De Tula ruins. Along this dirt road that leads to the barn, you’ll find a dirt track.
Jaguar Sport XJR-15 1991
The Jaguar Sport may be found at the Aeródromo En La Selva in Mexico’s southwest region. Drive along the circuit’s dirt roads on the south side of the airfield after you’ve arrived. The barn is located just off one of these roads, surrounded by trees. The’mo’ of the Aeródromo map label is likewise covered by the barn.
1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS
To discover the Porsche 911 barn, begin driving down the Caldera’s twisting mountain route on the east side. Drive up the road until you reach the second sequence of hairpin turns. You’ll soon come upon a dirt track on the left side of the road, which should be driving northwards. This is a long road, but stick with it and you’ll ultimately arrive at the barn.
Ford Mustang GT2+2 Fastback 1968
Guanajuato is located east-northeast of the Ford Mustang Barn Find. After leaving the city on the east route, turn left into a road that leads north. After that, the road swings right to face east then left to face north. On the road part following the two turns, there is a dirt track that leads to the barn.
BMW 2002 Turbo 1973
On the north side of the Mexico map, northwest of Guanajuato, the barn containing the BMW 2002 Turbo is just up a hill off the road.
Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck 1993
To find the Toyota Baja Truck Barn Find, travel to Mexico’s southwest region and seek the following three landmarks: De Otro Mundo, Club De Palo De Fuego, and Palacio Azul Del Océano. The barn you’re seeking may be found immediately below the De Otro Mundo map label, along the crop circle. You’ll see the barn nearby if you drive around the circle until you’re just past the 4 o’clock location.
Ferrari 250 GTO 1962
The 250 GTO is an extremely costly automobile, so this is one to keep an eye on. The barn is near the Los Jardines road, which is depicted on the map, on Mexico’s east coast. To discover the track leading to the barn, look for the dirt road that connects two main roads that eventually intersect at a roundabout. It’s also around halfway between Valle De Las Ranas and Playa Azul.
Renault 4L Export 1968
Look in the northwest region of the Mexico map for the Renault Export Barn Find. The barn is located northeast of the Baja Circuit, near the map’s northern border. You’ll eventually reach a junction where you can turn left and continue roughly south if you’re driving west on the northernmost route. Take this road and look for the dirt path just before it turns right. Follow it to the barn.
Dodge Viper GTS ACR 1999
In the ‘Gran Pantano’ map label text, the Dodge Viper Barn Find is in the second A of Pantano. This location can be found in Mexico’s southeast corner, just north of the Ek’ Balam ruins.
Chevrolet Corvette 1953
The Chevrolet Corvette is located southeast of Tierra Próspera and just south of the main roadway that runs through the center of the map. There’s a dirt road nearby that passes a small river, and following this road eastbound shortly after the river crossing will lead you to the barn track.
Dodge Dart Hemi Super Stock 1968
In the southern half of the Mexico map, near Teotihuacan, is the Dodge Dart barn. In Teotihuacan, look for a dirt track along the horizontal road slightly south of the road strip. The barn is located directly below the Teotihuacan map label’s ‘can.’
Ferrari F40 Competizione 1989
The Ferrari F40 Barn Find is located in the southeast area of the map, west of Tulum. The barn is located down a gravel road in a swampy area of Mexico. It’s also close to the Riviera Maya on the southeast coast, and it’s just north of Pantano De La Selva on the map.
Ford F100 1956
The barn you’re seeking in the Ford F100 truck Barn Find is located in a field just south of Tierra Próspera. Below the region’s designation, the fields are encircled by a road loop.
That completes the list of 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds. All of these antique cars are free to alter, drive, and race, so hopefully they will bring you a lot of podiums and wins. Make sure to keep an eye out for the other treasures in Forza Horizon 5, such as the XP and Fast Travel boards, which you must complete.
