There are a few Pokemon in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl that can only be obtained through unique evolutions. Some of them can have somewhat enigmatic ways. Gligar, from Generation IV, is one of them.
The development of the bat-like Pokemon might be perplexing, leaving fans perplexed. In BDSP, here’s how you evolve Gliscor.
Gligar locartion in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond
The Flying-type can only be found in Sinnoh caverns. Head to Jublife City after unlocking the Grand Underground in Eterna. Once there, utilise the Explorer Kit to explore beneath the map. Gligar can be found in the Hideaways of Rocky Cave and Swampy Cave. They appear as beige or dark green squares on your map.
Look for the Gen IV’mon in one of the rooms. Exit and re-enter if you don’t see it. This approach should be repeated until Gligar appears. It can be found in a number of caves, including Rocky Cave, Swampy Cave, Sunlit Cavern, and Bogsunk Cavern. It may also be found at Big Bluff Cavern at levels 58-63 after unlocking the National Pokedex.
How to evolve Gligar into Gliscor in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
You can technically evolve Gligar at any level now that you’ve caught it. However, it necessitates the use of a unique evolution item, which can only be obtained after completing the main plot.
To enter the menu, press X and then select the Bag option.
Next, go to the ‘Other Items Pocket’ and look for the Razor Fang item.
Press A on it, then select Gligar from the “Give to a Pokemon” menu.
Wait till nighttime in-game now that it has the Razor Fang.
Finally, when equipped with the Held Item, you must level up Gligar once during the night. It will now evolve into Gliscor on its own.
How to get Gligar and Gliscor in Pokemon Shining Pearl
Gligar and Gliscor are both available only from Brilliant Diamond. This implies that players of Pokemon Shining Pearl will be unable to capture the Gen IV bat’mon or its evolution. They will need to trade with a Diamond player in order to obtain the popular Flying-type. Trading can be accessed by travelling upstairs or downstairs in any Pokemon Center.
Razor Fang Location in Pokemon BDSP
As previously stated, players will not be able to obtain the Razor Fang item until the end of the game. This entails completing the main storey to gain entrance to the Fight Area, which can be reached by speaking with the sailor in Snowpoint City.
Head north via the tunnel to enter the Battle Park once you’ve reached the Fight Area. Head left immediately after arriving to pick up the Pokeball item southwest of the route.
