Four Additional Free Games Are Now Available to Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers
Some subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online on Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED recently got four new “free” games. All four of the newly added classic games are only available to those who upgrade to the Expansion Pack tier of Nintendo Switch Online. This is because the games in question are all from the Sega Genesis, which, like N64 games, are not available to standard subscribers but are reserved for those who pay more.
Mega Man: The Wily Wars by Capcom, a compilation of remakes of the original three Mega Man games, stands out as the most prominent addition. Comix Zone, Target Earth, and Zero Wing have also been added to the Switch Online Expansion Pack library.

Comix Zone:
In Comix Zone, you will take part in an action game set in a world inspired by American comics, full with superheroes, superpowers, and fierce combat. Cartoonist Sketch Turner becomes trapped in his own comic book universe, the Comix Zone, and must fight his way out.
Mega Man: The Wily Wars:
“The first three games in the classic Mega Man series are collected in Mega Man: The Wily Wars for the SEGA Genesis. The robot masters controlled by Wily have escaped, and Mega Man must defeat them all to save the day. If you complete the trilogy, you will get access to Wily Tower and its new boss.
Target Earth:
“As shown in Target Earth, hostile Chron cyborgs assault the planet and its orbital outposts. Fight your way through eight stages of intense mech suit platforming action, and outfit yourself as you see fit. Will you be able to preserve Earth and learn the truth about Chron’s legacy?”
Zero Wing:
“Toaplan, known for making famous arcade games, produced the timeless side-scrolling classic Zero Wing. Cats, the leader of a band of space pirates, is responsible for widespread panic across the cosmos. Use Valcan shots, lasers, and homing missiles to destroy the lone remaining assault vessel in the Milky Way and bring him and his pirates to justice.
