What Dating Advice From Sylvester Stallone gave to his Daughters
Sylvester Stallone is a writer, director, and actor. And, as two of his kids just revealed, he’s a relationship expert.
In the newest episode of their podcast Unwaxed, Stallone’s daughters Sophia and Sistine discussed dating, with Sophia revealing that her father is always happy to offer dating advise.
“I was telling my mom about how I have a date this week, and my dad suddenly comes out of nowhere. He was dropping me some golden nuggets,” she said. “He was like, can I butt in here? He was saying about being patient for the right one and that the way that the guy treats you early on really is an indicator of how his overall personality will be in the relationship.”
Sophia then recalled her father’s advice not to rush into finding “the one” since it is more important to find the right person than to waste time on the wrong person.
“He said it might be next week, or it might be when you’re 35 years old,” she said, “but choose happiness and true compatibility than chasing the clock.”
As a result, Sistine recommended they invite her father onto the show for an episode where he could share more of his paternal wisdom. “Sometimes he is Shakespearian when it comes to dating,” she admitted.
