Welcome to our guide “Weird West: How To Get Your Old Items Back After Changing Character?”. Your items do not vanish when you switch characters in Weird West. The game has a method to reclaim rights to your old goods, but it doesn’t explain how. So, this guide has all you need to know.

How to find your old characters?
You can find the previous protagonists and recruit them early in a fresh character’s adventure. That’s what you should do to get your old equipment. Jane, for example, is in Bell Stead. To find them, seek for a golden character on the global map within the mercenaries tab. Once there, you can recruit the ex-protagonists to your group.
How to get your old items back after changing character in Weird West?
Onboarding the character gives you the old keys, the Golden Ace Of Spades cards and the Nimp Relics. Talk to the character and select “show equipment” to view your former inventory. If you’re keeping the character, give them some of the stuff so you don’t need to carry them all. Plus, they’ll need a weapon to be an effective team member.
Saddlebags are a great place to store goods. Thankfully, you can reclaim them. Simply purchase a horse at a stable. The animal’s saddlebags would already be packed with your previous horse’s items. You can just head to the bank & grab the stuff you put in your safe. The boxes aren’t attached to any characters, so anyone can use them.
