Scorn: How to heal and revitalize your healing tool
It is going to be a rough go if you do not know what you are doing when it comes to healing in Scorn. True to form for a first-person survival horror game, just because you are armed with Scorn does not mean you are any less vulnerable to harm. In reality, you put yourself at more risk when eliminating opponents because doing so necessitates getting close to them.
We do not blame you if you have received a few blows and are not sure how to heal, as Scorn provides practically all of its information to you through its environment, including the initial problem in Scorn and its saw or scoop decision. If you are concerned about making it through this ordeal alive, you will be relieved to learn that there is a solution. In Scorn, pressing ‘E’ may heal you, although this has nothing to do with whether or not you have the power to heal. Please read on to learn how and when you can get your healing instrument.
After triggering the glowing red pods in the second alien structure on your adventure, you immediately gain the ability to heal in Scorn. Insert the key into the pod’s interface and proceed straight toward the pod. To get a tentacle-covered glob of flesh, use the console to its left. No one knows what this is, but it is your healing instrument, and Scorn never tells you. It is also the heart of the life support system that is keeping the squishy guy in the pod going. Oops. Do not wallow in self-pity, though; his misfortune is your opportunity to learn Scorn’s healing techniques.

Scorn’s healing ability is extremely useful, but it also has several limitations. Only eight charges can be placed in your healing tool. Even worse, it is completely empty when you pick it up, so you will need to locate something like to a blood bank before you can put it to use. These odd terminals can be found all over the place, usually in obscure, out-of-the-way places. They are one-time-only and hard to come by, so make sure you look around carefully.
You can get up to eight charges from different blood banks, each of which costs between three and four charges. Whenever you access your inventory or take aim with your weapon, you will be able to view how many charges you have available. The nodes above your health bar represent your charges.
