Rio Vista Head-on collision take lives of 4 and another 6 injured
Four individuals were murdered and six others were injured in a head-on collision in Rio Vista on Wednesday night, according to local authorities.
Just after 8 p.m., there was a collision on Highway 12. A huge SUV and a midsize automobile can be seen in the video.
Cops say a family of seven vacationing in Mexico were in the SUV. The automobile had three passengers.
According to reports, there were several empty bottles of alcoholic beverages around. They did not say which car the canisters were in, therefore we do not know if somebody was killed in either one.
Both directions of Highway 12 have been shut down at Summerset Drive, according to Caltrans. Alternate routes are being urged on drivers.
Responding to non-emergency calls may be delayed as firefighters assist with the transportation of injured crash victims.
