Police say a father abducts a 4-year-old Akron son after shooting his mother
On September 19, Akron Police stated that a 4-year-old boy had been abducted after his father, who is described as “armed and very dangerous,” shot his mother.
Authorities have identified the missing toddler as Fabian Claudio-Castro, a 2-foot-six-inch-tall, 30-pound-boy with brown hair and brown eyes.
When he was last seen, he was donning a blue shirt and khaki shorts.
Jose Castro, 24, was described as a black male with brown eyes and a weight of 132 pounds by Amber Alert.
He had on a white T-shirt and black shorts when he was last spotted.

Multiple 911 calls reporting a lady shot on September 19 prompted Akron police to dispatch officers to the 1100 block of Tulip Street, according to the department.
According to the police report, officers arrived to find the unconscious female victim lying outdoors with multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses told police that the suspect stole the victim’s child, who is also his child, and drove away after the shooting while EMS was treating the woman.
According to the police, they watched surveillance footage in which the suspect was seen grabbing the youngster before getting into a vehicle that belonged to the victim and driving away.
Police said the person is in critical condition at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital.
