In Scarlet and Violet, you can help your Pokemon advance to higher levels by challenging other trainers to battles. Players can use special Poke Balls to capture these powerful monsters everywhere in the Paldea area. However, at really high levels, your Pokemon may stop listening to you during battle.
A player’s Pokemon will finally listen if they gain enough Gym Badges. Gym Leaders all over the map, such as those found at Alfornada Gym, Cascarrafa Gym, and Montenevera Gym, will sell you the necessary equipment. Players can take control of Level 25 Pokemon in the initial challenge, and all levels are represented in the final Gym.
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet: Finding Your Profile
The effects of your Gym Badges and where you stand in terms of their rank can be viewed by selecting “Profile” from the main menu.
Besides the obvious benefit of having obedient Pokemon, trainers can also gain access to high-level Pokemon and useful items like TMs by visiting these areas. You can also advance in the Victory Road storyline, which requires you to take out eight Gym Leaders and other formidable foes, with each of these Gym Badges.
