Plus, GO Fest season is upon us with multiple in-person and free global events offering unique bonuses.
Trainers attending in-person GO Fest events will have fun around the world: Pokémon GO Fest 2025 in Osaka, Japan (May 29–June 1) coincides with a free global Serene Retreat event (May 30–June 3) featuring bonus spawns of Pokémon like Shiny Munna and Shiny Morelull.
In early June, Pokémon GO Fest: Jersey City, USA (June 6–8) overlaps with Instrumental Wonders (June 7–11), highlighting Pokémon such as Ferroseed and Falinks and debuting Gigantamax Cinderace.
The Paris GO Fest (June 13–15) is paired with Phantom Ruins (June 14–18), which highlights Ghost- and Ground-type spawns like Gothita and Phantump, and even debuts Gigantamax Inteleon.
Spotlight Hours and Community Day provide weekly and monthly treats. The June Community Day is on June 21, 2025 (2–5 PM local time); the featured Pokémon will be announced later.
Every Tuesday in June from 6:00–7:00 PM local time is a Spotlight Hour with special bonuses: Spritzee (June 3), Magnemite (June 10), Solosis (June 17), and Growlithe (June 24) will appear more often and award extra rewards like XP or Candy.
Raid bosses rotate throughout June, keeping raids exciting. Tapu Bulu raids finish in early June, with Groudon appearing in five-star raids from June 5–14 and Kyogre from June 14–23. The Legendary Cobalion debuts in five-star raids starting June 30.
Each weekly Raid Hour highlights the current Legendary: Tapu Bulu on June 4, Groudon on June 11, and Kyogre on June 18 (each 6:00–7:00 PM local time).
Mega Raids cycle through Mega Altaria, Mega Abomasnow, Mega Manectric, Mega Beedrill, and Mega Aggron all month long. An Ancients Recovered event (June 23–27) brings all six Legendary Regi Pokémon back to raids.
Finally, the excitement peaks with Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global on June 28–29 (10 AM–6 PM local time), a free worldwide celebration.
