Pokémon Go: How to get Holiday Glaceon
While Pokémon Go events provide players with a better chance of catching specific Pokémon, they primarily attract players by providing those Pokémon with new costumes to wear. This doesn’t change much about the Pokémon themselves, but it’s a terrific approach to give the events an extra degree of exclusivity. Glaceon can be gained with a holiday form wearing a winter cloak during the Season of Heritage holiday 2021 event. Here’s how you can acquire it.
Glaceon is one of the highlighted Pokémon during the holiday 2021 event, but you won’t be able to catch it in the wild, and it won’t appear in Field Research encounters. Furthermore, transforming one of your Eevees into Glaceon does not grant it festive attire. You’ll have to face Holiday Glaceon in three-star raids instead. Holiday Stantler, Cloyster, and Holiday Delibird are some of the other Pokémon that can be found in three-star raids. Holiday Glaceon may only be obtained through these raids.
When you encounter Holiday Glaceon in a three-star raid, you should use steel or fire-type attacks to defeat it. Flying, ground, grass, and, especially, dragon are Pokémon you should avoid using against it. You will all have an opportunity to catch the Glaceon once you and the rest of the raid have reduced the Glaceon’s health. You might even acquire a shiny form if you’re lucky.
