Pokemon GO: How To Get a Sinnoh Stone

The Gen 4 region’s name has been given to a new evolutionary item in Pokemon GO. This item, however, is more difficult to locate than the others. How to acquire a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon GO is shown below.

The Sinnoh Stone is an essential item for trainers who wish to advance their Pokémon to the next evolutionary stage. Last month, Niantic delivered a massive update, introducing a slew of new Generation 4 Pokémon (as well as Meltan) to the game. Only by using this stone may certain monsters progress to the next evolutionary stage.

Where to find Sinnoh Stone

The Sinnoh Stone is not distributed in the same manner that other evolutionary items are, thus players won’t be able to get their hands on one by visiting a gym, completing a Special Research mission, or stopping by a Poke Stop. You’ll need a Research Breakthrough to obtain it.

Those that complete their Field Research in under seven days will be rewarded with a Research Breakthrough. You’ll have to put in some effort to make sure these Pokemon GO tasks get done before the end of the week. Every week, you’ll be able to win a Sinnoh Stone, but you can only use it once, so be selective about which Pokemon on your team you level up.

So, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise if future events provide these unique Sinnoh Stones as prizes. Whatever the situation may be, you can be sure that we will update this site with more details as soon as we learn of other ways to acquire this item.

All Pokemon that use the Sinnoh Stone to evolve

Not all Pokémon in the game require the evolution stone to progress. Only twelve monsters have been discovered to be capable of evolution utilising this item. Examine the entire roster down below:

Rhydon (Evolves into Rhyperior)
Magmar (Evolves into Magmortar)
Togetic (Evolves into Togekiss)
Murkrow (Evolves into Honchkrow)
Misdreavus (Evolves into Mismagius)
Gligar (Evolves into Gliscor)
Sneasel (Evolves into Weavile)
Porygon 2 (Evolves into Porygon Z)
Roselia (Evolves into Roserade)
Dusclops (Evolves into Dusknoir)

Evolving a Pokemon requires both the Sinnoh Stone and 100 Candy. We will update this list if we discover any new Pokemon in Pokemon GO that can evolve using a stone.
