In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Combee has a unique method to evolve into Vespiquen. The first time you enter a cave, look around for a female Combee and if it doesn’t exist, leave the room and return. This will give the female Combee a second chance to appear in this den’s spawns. Vespiquen and the other 492 Pokémon of this generation must be obtained by players in order to complete their National Dex.
