You will be responsible for delivering parts to commercial customers using company vehicles, with no Commercial Driver’s License required.
Responsibilities
As a part-time Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Driving a delivery vehicle to transport parts to commercial customers, including loading and unloading.
- Picking up returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or vendors.
- Maintaining a safe driving and working environment, adhering to PPE requirements.
- Assisting do-it-yourself customers in the store when not making deliveries.
- Following all company policies, procedures, dress code, and safety guidelines.
- Handling cash and charge transactions according to company policy.
- Maintaining product knowledge and staying up-to-date on current promotions.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and meet AutoZone’s driver requirements.
- Have the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
- Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills.
