Confirmed Anime Releases in 2026

BEASTARS (Final Season – Volume 2) N

The wait has been long. The final part of BEASTARS was delayed from 2025 to 2026. Fans now look ahead to Legoshi’s final story and a dramatic showdown with Melon.

Legoshi leaves school and lives alone in Beast Apartments. Louis leaves the Young BEASTARS and graduates, facing his father Ogma. Haru continues campus life filled with troubles. Current BEASTAR Yahya pursues Melon, a violent criminal who murders beasts for pleasure. The fates of Legoshi and Melon, never meant to cross, are tied by a family secret.

Blue Box (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: 2026

The first season of Blue Box was handled by Telecom Animation Film, and fans are already eager for more. Season 2 is expected in 2026, possibly in the second half of the year.

Taiki Inomata, a freshman of Eimei Senior High and a badminton player, is in love with Chinatsu Kano, a second-year student and the basketball ace. Their story continues.

One Piece: Elbaf Island Arc

Coming to Netflix: 2026

Once the Egghead Island Arc ends, the anime will move to the Elbaf Island Arc. Elbaf was first mentioned more than twenty years ago, and fans have waited a generation to see the home of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Weekly episodes are expected to continue throughout 2026.

Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (Season 1) N

Coming to Netflix: 2026

Netflix continues to stream new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure episodes. The seventh major arc, Steel Ball Run, arrives in 2026.

Set in the 19th century, it follows the first cross-continental horse race in North America. Johnny Joestar, once a genius jockey and now a paraplegic, joins forces with Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious outlaw. Together, they face the harshest race across the continent.

The One Piece (Season 1) N

Coming to Netflix: 2026

TOEI has produced the anime for decades, but WIT Studio is behind the remake of the East Blue Arc. The runtime is shorter, and pacing is faster.

The story begins again. Monkey D. Luffy, rookie pirate, dreams of becoming Pirate King by finding the legendary One Piece.

Titles With Release Dates To Be Announced

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: TBA

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners revitalized the game and became a major hit. A second season is in production, but details remain unknown. It could continue the story or introduce a new cast. Fans still remember how intense the first season was.

The Summer Hikaru Died (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: TBA

CygamesPictures confirmed a second season almost immediately after the first. The story of Yoshiki and Hikaru continues.

The two best friends grew up in a rural Japanese village. One day Hikaru returned from the mountains, but he was no longer himself. Something had taken over. Memories, feelings, and everything they knew began to unravel.

Dan Da Dan (Season 3)

Coming to Netflix: Possible Late 2026

Dan Da Dan has been watched by millions. Science Saru adapts the Space Globalists Arc next.

Momo believes in ghosts. Okarun believes in aliens. Each denies the other, until a night of dares reveals spirits and aliens together. Their world of paranormal and supernatural grows even stranger.

Sakamoto Days (Season 2) N

Coming to Netflix: TBA

Renewal has not been announced yet, but Season 2 is expected. Like Dan Da Dan, the series has been extremely popular and continues Netflix’s weekly anime expansion.
