Along with the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi on May 22, Fortnite will run a competition dubbed the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup, in which players can win the in-game outfit and back bling. The top 750 players in NA East will receive the reward, while the top 250 in NA West will receive it. Europe (top 1,250), Brazil (top 400), Asia (top 150), Oceania (top 100), and the Middle East are the other regions (top 100). The estimated selling price is $20 USD.

“To be eligible to queue up and compete during the Event window as listed in-game, all eligible players on a Duos team (as determined by Epic in accordance with these Rules) must rank in the Open League (Division I, II, or III) or higher within Arena in their respective server region by the start of the Event,” Epic explains. “The event will last about three hours.” During the Event, players may compete in a maximum of ten (10) matches. The scoring method described in Sections 2.4.2 and 2.4.3 will be used to award points to players (as applicable). Matches for the Event will only be counted if they commence before the Event window closes.
