In the metro tunnels to the Villedor Central Loop, Hakon will prompt you to tell Aitor what you’ve learnt so far through the Dying Light 2’s The Only Way Out options. At this moment, you must choose between helping Sophie and reporting Commander Lucas’ assassination to Aitor.

The Peacekeepers seek to seize Jack and Joe’s water tower to weaken the Bazaar survivors will help their inquiry. In order to progress the story and the faction conflict in Old Villedor, you must finish The Raid story quest.

Choosing Sophie

Defying Hakon’s advise and keeping your vow to Sophie will lead you to Tango Motel. It’s full of dead Peacekeepers imprisoned by the Bazaar Refugees. On the roof of the motel, you’ll find a dead Peacekeeper’s radio, with Aitor seeking to make through. Barney will accuse you of being a criminal if you respond to Aitor.
You’ll have to fight some Survivor baddies, although they’re not very good fighters. A boss clash with Sophie’s bodyguard, Hermann, will lead the roof to collapse when you try to leave. Then Hakon will rescue you with a roof ladder and indicate that Barney has stuff to hide and has to be located.
You’ll see Barney & Sophie with a crossbow on either side of the motel’s guarded saferoom. She’ll inform you the Bazaar needs the water tower to live, bringing you to your subsequent option. Trying to aid each other or testing Sophie by saying “try me”?
