Paige Spiranac received death threats for taking a dig at pushcart users, angering the “golf cart mafia”.
She was a professional player for one year. Nowadays she’s more active on Instagram and posts her golfing videos and sexy snaps. As of now she has over 2.5 million followers.
Paige uses her social media accounts to share her knowledge related to golfing. She has come out openly having some strong opinion over suing golf carts on the golf course.
Recently, over her podcast “Playing A Round”, Spiranac said: “I know that pushcarts are actually good, like if you have back issues.
“But if you’re mad at me for calling you a b****, that’s what makes you a b**** – being that upset about a pushcart.”
Paige’s thoughts have got her some heat from golfers over the use of the rolling bag.
“I just got a death threat over a pushcart,” Spiranac wrote on her Twitter account.
“Pushcart mafia rolls deep. Literally.”
Paige’s fans immediately came forward to her defense – though she tried to push it away lightly.
She said: “It would be a very boring podcast if we never had strong opinions on anything.” She later explained in her podcast exactly what she had against pushcarts.
“The only guys who are getting upset about me calling them a b**** are the bitches who use the pushcarts,” she added.
“This guy sent me a DM and he was said ‘how dare you call me a b****, I only have one good leg and it’s better than playing on nothing’.”
“I am so heated about it because it’s so funny how guys are so offended by a woman calling them a b**** but they have no problem using that term towards women.
“As soon as you call a guy a b**** it’s like the world’s ending, it’s such a shot to the male ego.”
