When it comes to alliances, players will have three options to choose from after they reach a specific point in the main plot.
While playing New World, players will have the option of choosing one of three factions, and your choice will have a significant impact on how you play the game!
While MMORPGs have been stagnant in recent years, Amazon Games Studios’ second big project, New World, aims to spark the fire that many fans of the genre have been longing for.
Since its limited beta launch, the game has been a huge hit, and there’s plenty of classic MMO content for players to enjoy. Factions is one of these features; players will be able to join one of three factions, which will be locked in for a minimum of 120 days.
The three Factions in New World
The Syndicate
The Syndicate is a shadowy organization of limitless cunning and brilliance on the hunt for forbidden knowledge in order to usher in a new era of enlightenment.
Marauders
The Marauders are a brutal military group dedicated to the establishment of a free nation where anybody with the means to succeed can do so.
Covenant
The Covenant is a fanatical group tasked with purging the nation of heretics and defilers so that it can reclaim its original holy essence and restore justice.
What Faction should I choose in New World?
The Faction you should join is determined by the team you wish to be a part of.
If you have friends who are members of a particular faction, you should join them. Players will not be able to engage in PVP battles within their own Faction, but they will be able to travel to the New World with their friends.
What are the differences between the three Faction?
When asked which Faction you wish to join, don’t make a hasty decision because you’ll have to wait 120 days to change your Faction. However, we haven’t discovered any significant differences between the three.
These are the only differences between the three factions.
- Faction specific gear
- Company’s associated with each Faction
- Color of each Faction
So, there isn’t a whole lot to sway your decision, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a hard decision!
