She claims that the Russian unit leaders are actively searching for ways to retreat from their current locations. There are a several options here, including disarming or trying to escape to the Russians’ back lines.
Even the commanders have come to the conclusion that there is nowhere to run, Humeniuk said.
According to her, the enemy forces are aware of the significant Ukrainian win in Kharkiv Oblast.
The spokesperson said that Russian forces on the western bank of the Dnipro River are desperately trying to find a means to escape the area as their ability to cross the river remains severely limited.
According to Humeniuk, Ukrainian forces have advanced more than a few tens of kilometres into Russian-controlled territory in southern Ukraine.
