Choosing a Credit Card

When picking out a credit card it’s important to know how and when you are most likely to use it.

If you are a frequent traveller, or someone who spends a lot on holidays a higher annual rate will not be as detrimental. However, if you like to be thrifty when it comes to your holidays and stick to a strict budget, a credit card with no annual fee might be better suited for you. It

is also important to know when you are most likely to use your credit card, is it for grocery shopping, buying flights or even online at e-commerce stores, food delivery apps or online casino sites? Playing at a new online casino is a lot of fun, but researching which ones to use will also reduce any risk, and allows you to discover which ones have bonuses like no deposit fees or extra free spins. Paying with a credit card helps add more security when gambling online, so you can feel at ease when playing your favourite casino games. With so many new online casinos available, it can be hard to know which ones are secure. Although purchasing things online is fun and convenient, it’s good to remember to do your research and ensure your payment options are secure.

American Express Gold Card

The American Express Gold card comes with many benefits but one of the ones that stand out next to the other cards is that points can get collected at restaurants (and even take-out in the U.S.!) and supermarkets, ideal for all the foodies out there. Sitting at a mid-range price point the American Express Gold card has an annual fee of $250. Using a credit card like this is a great way to earn air miles and make your money work for you. Another great advantage that makes this card great for travel is you collect 3x times the points when you purchase flights using your card. With such good points and the reason, this card makes it to the top of our list.

Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card

This is a good credit card for people who like their road trips. With the Capital One Venture Rewards credit card, you can earn 5x mile points on all hotel bookings and car rentals. This card also has a way lower annual rate than the American Express Gold Card, with an annual rate of only $95. Another big benefit is that this card has no transaction fees, no matter where you are in the world.
