Tijuana, Mexico police are on the hunt for a serial killer
Baja California’s attorney general, Ricardo Iván Carpio Sánchez, has acknowledged that they are looking into a suspect described as a “sociopath” who may be responsible for the murders of at least three women in Tijuana.
A subject needed by this institution was found to have a criminogenic effect, as Carpio Sánchez put it.
“We have taken the necessary investigative actions to aspire to the absolute clarification of cases, which have to do with femicide at this time, and that we have a judicial warrant for an arrest warrant against an individual, from whom we have also taken the necessary strategies to neutralize his activity in our region.”
According to the prosecutor, the offender was identified through an examination of the modus operandi, which is consistent across the cases; all of the victims were defenceless women whom he lured to remote locations and abused.
“Signs of a modus operandi are found, of circumstances that occurred that he is a sociopathic subject, that he is a subject that in this case attacks people in a condition of vulnerability, alone, and that leads them with tricks to be on an occasion that allows him to attack them in their entirety under the mechanism of maintaining a private activity with these women.”
Carpio Sánchez stated that they have been able to neutralise this serial killer’s activity thus far, and that they are still working to stop him and punish him; nevertheless, he cautioned against disclosing any further information lest it put the subject on notice and impede the investigations.
The evidence presented by Ricardo Iván Carpio suggests that the suspect in the string of female murders is a citizen of the United States.
“For the time being, precisely for strategic reasons, and aspiring to the result to which we are committed, it is that even giving the details of these events would alert the subject in question that it is his person; but without a doubt we are going to arrest him and we are going to transfer him to Tijuana so that he can be processed”.
