Funko is now promoting its Festival of Fun holiday event, which includes the release of its large Pop figure, advent calendar, and game for the 2021 holiday season.
The very first Pokemon Pocket Pop advent calendar is likely to be one of the major releases to appear during the event.
Each day of December leading up to Christmas, the Pokemon Funko Advent Calendar will contain 24 Pocket Pop surprises for you to discover.
We say “surprises,” but if you’re really curious about what’s inside, there’s a photograph of the entire collection on the product page here at Walmart, here on Amazon, and here at Entertainment Earth, where you can pre-order for $39.96 to $59.99 depending on the retailer.
In essence, the Pokemon figures in the advent calendar are miniature replicas of the Pop figures that have previously been published in the Pokemon series. Pikachu, Charmander, Mewtwo, Mew, Raichu, Bulbasaur, and other Pokemon are included.
There were also some metallic silver variations. Unfortunately, the addition of these metallic variations comes at the expense of a more complete Pokemon Pocket Pop collection, with Charizard being the most obvious exclusion.
The release of the Pokemon Funko Advent Calendar is part of Funko’s Festival of Fun holiday event, as previously stated.
Several advent calendars, as well as holiday-themed Funko Pop figures and games, are likely to be released during the Festival of Fun. Our Festival of Fun master list will keep you up to date on everything.
