The NBA 2K23 PlayStation 5 Install Size Is a big 143 GB
The PS5 edition of NBA 2K23 is now available for pre-loads, and it comes in at a hefty 143GB in size. This would use up almost a third of the storage capacity on a fresh new console if you had not already added an additional SSD. The basketball simulator is notorious for its massive installation sizes, although most people report that they have finished the game after installing less than 100GB.
It is fair to say that this year’s release is larger than usual, what with its seemingly extensive features like a Michael Jordan-themed campaign mode complete with documentary-style cutscenes. In addition to featuring a Franchise mode that adapts to the era you are playing, the game also features numerous commentary teams that provide different play-by-plays as you progress through the decades.
Although this is obviously a huge package put together, 2K Sports will need to reduce these file sizes in the future. However, at the present, this game is a monster, so if you want to play on launch day, you will need to give yourself plenty of time to download everything. You are going to need it, by the grace of God!
