“Eighty percent of men will cheat at their bucks party.” At least according to Hayley Davies, a former stripper.

Davies, 25, now resides in America but told news.com.au that working in a strip club definitely changed her view of fidelity in Australia.

“I worked in a strip club that frequently hosted bucks [bachelor] parties, and I would say that majority of the grooms and their friends would at the very least try and make out with you,” she said.

The 25-year-old said part of her routine involved foam, which could often end up on audience members.

So she’d take them upstairs to wash them off, and she said most men would take that moment to try to make their move. A staggering 80 percent of them, in fact.

Davies said she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with men going to strip clubs for bachelor parties if their partners are OK with it, but she’s found they often use the occasion as an excuse to stray.

“I think men who cheat on their partners don’t think strippers count as people. It is a fantasy and they don’t think it counts. You can tell by the way they talk about you,” she explained.

Davies said she’s not a fan of men who are willing to cheat on their partners, especially right before they walk down the aisle, but it isn’t her job to be the monogamy police.

“If [bucks] are going to cheat, they’re going to cheat. I don’t like it, but of course, I’m going to take their money. At the end of the day, it’s on them,” she explained.

For her personally, it is a complete turnoff.

“I think they suck. It is such a horrible thing to do right when they are going to commit. It is wrong. It is completely wrong,” she said.

Davies said it is also impossible to tell which men are loyal. She’s seen no pattern — less stereotypically attractive guys are just as likely to cheat as good-looking ones.

“The men who cheat are always the ones you least expect. No one is safe,” she admitted.

Even after they are married, and even just newly married, she still finds cheating is rife.

“You wouldn’t believe how many newly married men’s numbers I have in my phone.”

The whole thing has impacted Davies to the point it has changed her perspective on romance. It is hard to want to go out and find love when she’s witnessed the disappointing underbelly.

“I don’t really date, but seeing how often men cheat has definitely changed my thoughts on monogamous relationships.”
