Items don’t count toward combinations, and keeping them stocked costs money, so use cards such as Quick Fix and Encourage first. The Recovery Kit is the sole way to resurrect a fallen hero mid-battle. The downed hero will immediately recover with 1 HP upon victory, sparing you a Kit.
