Splatoon 3: How to Power Up the Splatfest

Players in Splatoon 3’s Turf Wars participate in the Splatfest by selecting one of three teams. Choose a team, and you’ll receive a special piece of clothing designed for use in Splatfest combat. Follow these steps to supercharge your Splatfest Tee in Splatoon 3 and give yourself an edge over the competition.

Each Splatfest in Splatoon 3 has its own theme, and players can show their team spirit by wearing specially designed T-shirts. The Splatfest Tee has the ability doubler pre-installed, which multiplies the effectiveness of all secondary abilities.

Gear in Splatoon 3 gains XP and levels up as you ink up turf, allowing you to unlock new secondary functions. The primary ability of the Splatfest Tee doubles the effectiveness of the tee’s own special abilities.

To get the most out of the Splatfest Tee, it is recommended to switch its primary ability since doubling the sub-abilities does not improve upon them. Players at the Splatfest must wear the Splatfest Tee, therefore it’s best to equip one with a useful skill for the battleground.

How to Modify the Splatfest Tee’s Main Ability

Visit Murch

To the right of the main entrance is where you’ll find Murch.

Select the “Add Abilities” option.

Players can modify their equipment’s powers in the Add Abilities menu.

Go Down to Clothing

The Splatfest Tee can be found in the Clothing collection. To modify the Splatfest Tee’s abilities, select that option.

Please choose your primary Splatfest Tee ability.

Ability chunks can be used by pressing A on the Splatfest Tee and then pressing A on the primary ability to make a change.

Transform Capacity

The Splatfest Tee can be upgraded by spending six of the same ability chunk.

Upgrading your Splatfest T-shirt? Here are some things to keep in mind. The first is that changing the main ability requires six ability pieces, so if you don’t have enough of those in your inventory, you can’t upgrade the shirt until you do.

The shirt and any modifications you made to it during the Splatfest will be deleted from your closet once the event concludes. If players change their skills in time before the Splatfest concludes and they lose their shirt, they can retrieve those pieces back. You can use these pieces to upgrade the other gear sets you already have.

Players will place varying amounts of importance on different ability chunks. Since the ability to swim quickly is useful for a wide variety of weapons and play styles, it’s likely that the Splatfest Tee will offer it as a customization. Get the six ability chunks for swim speed back in return for updating the clothing. After Splatfest, players can pick which of their six abilities they would like to sacrifice.
