In Sniper Elite 5, leveling up involves gaining skill points, which may be used to unlock new abilities or bonuses. The following guide will assist you in determining which combat related talents or perks to obtain initially in Sniper Elite 5 in order to make the early game easier.

Sniper Elite 5: What Are The Best Combat Skills To Unlock?

As you go in Sniper Elite 5, you acquire skill points via XP. These skill points may be spent to unlock unique abilities and benefits. The special talents are separated into three categories: combat, equipment, and body, with a total of 27 skills.

Some of the talents take just one skill point, while others demand more, but the choice is yours. Don’t worry if you’re having problems picking which abilities to pursue. We’ve compiled a list of the top talents to learn early on in the game.

Sniper Elite’s Top 5 Combat Skills to Learn First

Sniper Elite 5‘s talents are divided into three categories: combat, equipment, and body. There are a total of 27 talents in the game. All of the combat related talents that we suggest you unlock initially are listed here.

Skill NameEffectSkill Point Cost
Back in the FightAllows you to use a medkit to revive yourself while you are downed1
No Time to BleedAllows you to use secondary weapons while you are downed1
Combat MedicAllows you to use bandages to revive yourself instead of medkits2
Steady HandGreatly reduces the scope instability whilst taking damage1
Swift Handsallows enemies to be looted automatically after a takedown2
TriangulationAllows you to tag enemies through the scope if they shoot at you1
Advanced TriangulationAllows you to tag enemies through the scope if they hit you2
Grenade Throwbackallows you to throw back enemy grenades1
Quick Trapallows you to quickly throw down a trap for enemies2

Because you’ll be largely employing stealth throughout the game, you’ll see little usage of Combat Skills. As a result, talents like Grenade Throwback and Quick Trap are essentially useless.

However, there are a few talents in this category that may be quite useful in the early stages of the game. Swift Hands, for example, enables you to loot your foes faster than previously, so those few seconds are no longer a disadvantage and you can get away with a speedier takedown.

Combat Medic allows you to preserve an essential medkit for later use. Finally, Advanced Triangulation will help you detect your foes and plan your next move throughout the early game.
