Welcome to our guide “Salt And Sacrifice: What Are The Best Tips For Beginners?”. These are some pointers to help you get started on your quest to destroy the mages who are attacking the kingdom of Altarstone.
Watch out for traps
The traps in Salt and Sacrifice seem to be among the most frustrating traps in gaming. They’ll hurt you, give you status illnesses, and maybe push you down into deep chasms which may even kill you. Knowing what a trap seems like will help you avoid it. Look for ropes to leap across and pits in the ground to roll over. You should not be kicked up by a large spiky mallet or pierced by ground spikes. Be aware of suspicious ledges and chests.
Use Glyphs
Several weapons within the game, especially mage-crafted weapons, have special abilities. These can be quite useful in a crisis and even vital to a build, but they come with conditions. There are nodes on the level-up tree that enable you to utilize the Divine or the Forbidden Glyphs. The equipment menu describes what Glyphs each weapon’s powers require. One of the skills of the Brilliant Rapier is Luminous Blade. These require level 1, 3, and 5 Divine Glyph nodes, respectively. An ability’s damage is usually tied to the Glyph it needs. As with Conviction, the Forbidden Glyphs grow with Arcana.
Use Bestiary
You can access your Bestiary from the menu after defeating an opponent. The bestiary entries describe the monster, its equipment, and most crucially, its elemental associations. You don’t want to utilize elements against enemies that resist them. For instance, avoid utilizing the Fire or the Light weapons against the pesky Electromancer & his henchmen in Ashbourne Village. If you’re having problems with an enemy, look up their resistances from the Bestiary.
