S Tier Pokémon
The best Pokémon right now. They always play their best when mixed in with various teams and have a huge impact on games.
Moltres
Moltres is a very strong Pokémon All-Rounder in the game of Pokémon UNITE. It’s equipped with stack burn effects on opponents, followed by powerful attacks to restore health and cause heavy damage.
Its Unite Move, Firebird Inferno, not only caps enemies’ burn stacks but also offers useful vision around opposing goal zones. With high durability and continued damage, Moltres will be very strong in long-duration team battles or in objective battles.
Latios
Latios is a long-range Special Attacker that can cause massive damage on the field. It has an ability called Passive, which gives it extra mobility after moving or after using a move and can also be instantly transferred to an allied Latias if both are on the same team.
It has Unite Move, Eon Blast, which will give Latios a huge burst attack before restoring all cooldowns. Its damage is constantly increasing as battles are fought, making it one of the most deadly late-game attackers.
Darkrai
Darkrai is still one of the most peculiar Speedsters in Pokémon UNITE. Its power is not just in the burst damage, but also in sleeping enemies to unleash its devastating passive damage.
It has a feature called Unite Move, Worst Nightmare, that locks a player in a separate nightmare world where other player teams can’t interact with them. Darkrai can use abilities repeatedly if an enemy falls asleep, while resetting cooldowns, making him very deadly when facing enemies alone.
Mimikyu
Mimikyu continues to be one of the safest All-Rounder picks available. It’s small, but has excellent mobility, consistent damage, and great survivability.
While it’s in Unite Move, it will allow a single opponent to be temporarily trapped and cannot be attacked by another opponent; after being trapped, Mimikyu will attack continuously under a protective shield. Since its introduction, Mimikyu hasn’t had any major weaknesses and has a well-rounded set of tools, making it a perennial favorite.
Miraidon
Because of its versatility, Miraidon is one of the most potent Special Attackers of this game. It can be played as a standard ranged damage dealer, or as a burst-style one with its mobility.
It launches several meteors which increase in strength after each successful strike until it finally launches a large knockup meteor. Miraidon is a game that needs practice to get good at, but once you do, you can take over a game with the great amount of damage it can put out.
A Tier Pokémon
Tier Pokémon are still great choices for Ranked play. They might be a bit weaker than the S Tier alternatives, but they are still good to play in the current meta.
Alcremie
Alcremie is one of the most dependable Supporters in the game and has rapidly garnered its place. It offers healing, protection, temporary health, and offensive buffs, which can make a world of difference to the survivability of one’s team.
It provides a protective cake with Unite Move that will continuously heal allies within a certain range, while boosting their HP for a brief period of time. Its simple gameplay also makes it a great game for new gamers.
Blissey
Blissey continues to be one of the game’s premier support Pokémon. It specializes in healing teammate(s), giving shields, and boosting Attack and Special Attack at certain times.
Blissey is capable of using its Unite Move to dash straight towards a friendly, disorient enemies, and then give itself a lot of defense and attack buffs. Blissey is highly reliant on team coordination, but is still extremely useful in organized matches.
Zacian
Zacian is a very potent All-Rounder, packing in mobility, durability, and high burst damage. It has one signature ability, Intrepid Sword, which increases its attack power and provides extra attack power during combat.
It unleashes a powerful sword slash when it’s Unite Move, which inflicts additional damage to opponents who have recently used their Unite Move. The only thing Zacian lacks is its mandatory Rusted Sword item for the character, making its build options a bit limited.
Alolan Ninetales
Alolan Ninetales is still one of the best crowd control Attackers in the game. It is great at freezing enemies with a high level of control and provides team members with opportunities to attack but still delivers some good ranged damage.
It snows and icestains an area, while also doing bonus damage on any target already frozen. With newer Attackers now doing more damage, Alolan Ninetales still has great utility in team fights.
Blastoise
Blastoise is still one of the most consistent Defenders in the game. Unlike many tanks, it can shoot in a way to cripple a whole team of enemies with crowd control, without necessarily taking a lot of damage.
It has Unite Move, Hydro Typhoon, which will knock enemies nearby up and inflict huge area damage. As Blastoise grows in strength, it can be a great front-line choice thanks to its survivability and disruption abilities.
B Tier Pokémon
While still viable, they are typically used in more advantageous matchups or with more advanced players.
Galarian Rapidash
Rapidash is a Galarian Pokémon adept at moving around and pinpointing enemy targets. It also confines players to a small space with a Unite Move before it lets players have a few more dashes.
While it has been less dominant in recent changes, it is still a good pick for those who like to play fast and aggressively.
Cinderace
Cinderace remains a strong ranged damage dealer who can melt down weak opponents from a distance.
The flaming projectile it unleashes from its Unite Move deals more damage based on the percentage of missing health of an enemy, before boosting Cinderace’s movement speed. It is not, however, durable, and attention must be paid to its positioning during each game.
Gengar
Recent Balance changes have given Gengar some relevance again because of its new early game farming speed boost. After its complete construction, it is one of the best burst assassins in the game.
It has Unite Move, which inflicts stealth, mobility, and strong follow-up attacks on isolated enemies. Though rewarding in the capable hands, Gengar is still weak in the hands where player is lacking at cooldown system.
