Welcome to our guide of “Pokemon Sword And Shield: How To Find Dreepy And Get Its Evolutions?”. During Pokemon Sword and Shield, here’s how to find, catch and evolve Dreepy.
How to find Dreepy?
Within Pokemon Sword and Shield, players must go to a specified place in order to catch Dreepy. Explore “Lake of Outrage” in the Pokemon Sword & Shield Wild Area’s far northwestern area. You’ll need to complete Circhester Gym and Route 9 first to unlock the surf upgrade for your Rotom Bike, thus make sure you’ve done both. After crossing the lake, you’ll come to a little piece of land with a lot of unusual Pokemon spawns. One of these could be Dreepy, but obtaining one will be difficult. In Overcast weather, Dreepy has a 1 percentage chance of appearing as a non-overworld encounter and a 2 percentage probability in Heavy Fog & a Thunderstorm. Those aren’t exactly enticing odds.
Thankfully, Drakloak, its initial evolution, may also be found in the wild. That one is a regular Overworld encounter, so you’ll see it first. It has a 1 percentage probability in Overcast & Rain and a 2 percentage probability in Heavy Fog as well as a Thunderstorm. Not that much better, however at the very least you may search for both Pokemon at the same time. Of course, if you catch a male & a female Drakloak, then you can breed a Dreepy by leaving the pair in the Pokemon Nursery.
How to evolve Dreepy?
Thankfully, catching a Dreepy requires no special equipment to develop it. At level 50, it evolves into Drakloak, then Dragapult. When you receive Dragapult, it can acquire powerful skills like Phantom Force (48), Dragon Rush (63), and Last Resort (78). Adamant has the strongest Dragapult nature within Pokemon Sword and Shield. Since Dragapult is faster than your opponent, the attack bonus is crucial for physical attacks. To get one of the finest attackers in the game, keep pairing Dreepy with Ditto.
