Pokémon Go Roggenrola Community Day: Complete Guide
The Unova region’s rock-type Pokémon, Roggenrola, is the highlight of Pokémon Go’s September Community Day. The highlighted Pokémon will spawn in enormous numbers, its Shiny rate will increase, and it will learn a new move when you evolve it, as is customary on Community Days.
To help you catch a Shiny Roggenrola and make the most of the occasion, we have put together this guide.
On the 18th of September, from 2 to 5 p.m., local time, Roggenrola will be hosting their annual Community Day.
SHINY ROGGENROLA: HOW to FIND?
The Silph Road found that the Shiny rate on Community Days is roughly 1 in 24, so if you play for the full three hours, you will have a good chance of catching many of them.
If you are in a pinch for time or Poké Balls, you can pop an Incense and then rapidly tap each Roggenrola to determine whether or not it is Shiny, running away from the ones that aren’t. Any Roggenrola that has already been tapped will turn so that it faces your player’s position, making it easy to tell which ones have been checked.
When ROGGENROLA’S EVOLUTION happens?
You can teach Roggenrola the charged attack Meteor Beam on September 18 between 2:00 and 10:00 p.m. local time by evolving it into Gigalith.
Even if you do not manage to evolve it in time, you might be able to do it in December during the Community Day weekend event, which would provide you access to Meteor Beam. For those who would rather not wait, an Elite TM can be used to learn the move immediately.
HOW PERFORMS GIGALITH IN FIGHTS?
Gigalith is an effective rock-type attacker in PvE situations like as raids and gyms. It is not quite as powerful as certain other, more specialised Pokémon, such as Legendaries, Shadows, Mega Evolutions, or rock-types with legacy techniques. Since Gigalith will be accessible and easy to level up because of the Community Day, you should get one while you still have the chance.
In PvP, Gigalith is rarely used. Meteor Beam does not help improve the standing of a Rock-type Pokémon in the metagame, which already has a plethora of weaknesses
ROGGENROLA COMMUNITY DAY: All You Can do
The benefits of Roggenrola Community Day include, in addition to the ones listed above:
- When incubated during the event period, an egg has a 25% better chance of hatching.
- Getting more sweets by catching Pokémon.
- The incense can be burned for three hours.
- From 2:00 am until 10:00 pm, you may make two Special Trades.
- increased odds of obtaining XL-sized candy
- Three-hour duration for lure modules
- Half as much Stardust is now needed for transactions.
However, before the event begins, you should light an incense and stock up on Roggenrola Candy, and you should definitely incubate any eggs you may have. It is a good idea to store up on sweets because Boldore needs 200 of them to evolve if you do not trade it first.
Candy rewards increase for each Roggenrola caught if an Aerodactyl or Aggron can be Mega Evolved.
As if that were not enough, between the hours of 5 and 10 p.m., Niantic is hosting special four-star raids, during which a Roggenrola will spawn inside a 300-meter radius of the gym for 30 minutes if the Boldore raid is cleared. The ability to remotely execute these raids is currently nonexistent. If the normal rise in Roggenrola spawns between 2 and 5 p.m. (server time) does not get you the creature you seek, you may always attempt raiding.
