Pokemon GO: How To Get Umbreon
The Pokemon of Generation 2 are beloved by many. The Gen 2 update for Pokemon GO was released in 2017, and it brought with it 80 new Pokemon, including two new Eeveelutions: Umbreon and Espeon. Here’s how you evolve your Eevee into the Darkness-type Pokemon Umbreon in Pokemon GO.
In Pokemon Go, how do you catch an Umbreon?
Eating a special name on an Eevee before using sweets to develop it into a Jolteon, Flareon, or Vaporeon was a common tactic in the past; in Pokemon GO, the same strategy can be used to obtain Umbreon. Global players agree that the correct name here is “Tamao.”
To get an Umbreon, just give your Eevee the name “Tamao,” feed it some candy, and it will evolve. Just like with previous Eeveelutions, this strategy is most likely only effective the first time around.
This Pokemon could be obtained in the video games by merging with an Eevee to raise its Friendship stat, and then training it at night to increase its level. This Pokemon was renowned for its svelte build and array of dark-type moves like Pursuit, Feint Attack, and Assurance. The Gold and Silver Pokedex entries for this Pokémon are shown below.
Gold: This Pokémon sprays venomous perspiration from its pores as a defence mechanism when provoked.
Silver: When night falls, the body’s rings start to glow and frighten anyone in the area.
