It’s a terrific way to swiftly build a strong lineup, whether you’re playing against others or simply aiming to amass the most formidable Pokemon collection possible. The Destiny Knot may be found in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
How to Find the Destiny Knot in Pokemon BDSP
You must travel to Route 224, which can be reached via Victory Road, in order to obtain the Destiny Knot. The problem is that you won’t be able to view this section until you have obtained the National Pokedex. Following a few steps after obtaining the National Pokedex, you will be able to obtain the Destiny Knot.
To obtain the National Pokedex, you must first defeat the Elite Four and become Champion, implying that you must first complete the game before considering the Destiny Knot. You must also possess a complete Sinnoh Pokedex. Your Sinnoh Pokedex will then be upgraded to the National Pokedex by Professor Oak. You can now embark on your quest to find the Destiny Knot:
- First, when you get to Route 224, move up until you hit the beach.
- Keep right and follow the beach to the very end and there will be two trainers, each one located by a tree directly ahead of you.
- You have the option here to fight if you want, but it is not required to get the Destiny Knot.
- After the fight or if you avoid them, go up the staircase to the left.
- The Destiny Knot is in a Pokeball lying in the upper right corner of this area.
What Does the Destiny Knot Do?
The Destiny Knot has two functions. If you give it to a Pokemon to hold, it has a chance to become Infatuated if it is attacked. It’s a nice item to have because the Infatuated status prohibits afflicted Pokemon from attacking 50% of the time. The Destiny Knot also serves as a beneficial breeding tool, since any eggs produced by a Pokemon with a Destiny Knot will inherit some of the parent’s IVs.
