Was the New World beta the long-awaited success that Amazon had hoped for? Whatever the verdict, there is no disputing that the developers still have a lot of work ahead of them.
They appear to be aware of this. New World’s release has been postponed from August 31 to September 28 according to the team.
According to the entry, Amazon Game Studios has received the support of one million gamers, who have spent over 16 million hours in New World since the beta began.
This, of course, resulted in a slew of useful comments that the engineers are eager to implement. As a result, it was decided to add another month to the schedule for optimization patches and bug fixes.
This isn’t the first time New World has been delayed, as was indicated in the communiqué. The game’s release had previously been postponed three times, the most recent being in February.
Let’s hope Amazon sticks to its pledge this time. Visit more New World news and guides.
