MLB The Show 22 is now out, and you’ll probably want to join your friends for a few games. The game’s multiplayer possibilities are amazing, with plenty of teams and rosters to choose from, but locating them can be difficult at first. Here’s How to Play With Friends in MLB The Show 22!
While there is no obvious “Multiplayer” menu, the game modes you want are called “Custom Leagues” and “Online-Coop” after you open the game start screen. The former requires 3 other players to build a league with several friends, configure the settings and competition, and select your teams. Play 2v2 or 3v3 against other gamers straight away with your pals.
In co-op, you can do it straight away by tapping the big “+” icon to add any pals who play the game. Also, if you’re at this screen on an Xbox or PlayStation, you can go to your friends list and invite them directly, or they can join your session through their menu.
After selecting your league settings and team, pick “Invite Friends” from the menu. You can add friends manually or search by online ID. With these alternatives, you can play either to determine who is the best player, or to build online friendship.
