No one wants a creeper to spawn in a dark area, creep up on a player but then just explode, sending the player in a trap of lava. If one area seems darker than others, use an extra torch there.
Look for resources
Hidden in the Minecraft’s code is this cool link between some of the resources that players mine. Some of them just appear right next to each other. That’s why it’s essential to dig all around the emeralds, diamonds, or redstone you find there. There’s a great possibility that it’s not the only thing close by. And anyway, the greatest feeling is, while a player goes to the trouble of digging up some redstone and finds a hidden stash of valuable diamonds that were just hanging out with the red dust.
