Minecraft: How to make a Potion of Water Breathing
You’ll want to be prepared for the many bodies of water you’ll encounter in Minecraft. You’ll need goods that allow you to survive underwater, especially if you’re trying to explore Ocean Monuments or other regions in ocean biomes. Here’s how to manufacture a Potion of Waterbreathing in Minecraft so you can swim around for a while without having to worry about running out of oxygen.
Items needed for a Potion of Water Breathing
A Brewing Stand, Blaze Powder, three Water Bottles, Nether Wart, and Pufferfish are all required. Nether Wart can only be found in the Nether, with Nether Fortresses being the most common location. Anybody of water can be used to catch pufferfish.
Make the potion
Place the Blaze Powder in the left-most slot and the Water Bottles in the bottom sections of the Brewing Stand to begin producing the potion. Now, place Nether Wart in the top slot and wait for the right arrow to fill up. The Water Bottles will become Awkward Potions as a result of this. Put the Pufferfish in the slot once that’s done, and they’ll become Potions of Water Breathing. They’ll last three minutes after you drink each one, following which you’ll need to get some fresh air.
The original version of the Water Breathing potion only lasts three minutes, but by adding Redstone to the ingredient slot, you may extend it to eight minutes. You could add Gunpowder to make a Splash Potion that you can toss to acquire the effects, but that will reduce the duration to two minutes and 15 seconds, which we don’t encourage.
