Love ball Location in Pokémon Sword & Shield

Love Ball Location Pokemon Sword and Shield

What is a Love Ball?

Pokémon Sword & Shield Love Ball is a Poké Ball that is obtained from Kurt. This particular Poké Ball works best when catching a Pokémon that is of the opposite gender of your Pokémon. Love Balls have a capture rate that depends on your Pokémon and the Opponents Pokémon.

Suppose, the Pokémons are of the same species and different genders, the capture rate will be 8. However, if the Pokémons are of the same gender or even genderless then the rate will be 1. It was found that this effect was glitched in Gold, Silver & Crystal

This guide will show you where to find Love Poke Ball in Pokémon Sword & Shield. Also, how to obtain one of these balls.

Where is the Love Ball location in Pokémon Sword & Shield?

There are three ways to get the Love ball in Pokémon Sword & Shield. Firstly, speak to an NPC in Ballonlea. Secondly, go to the Watt traders in the Wild Areas & thirdly, trade for it. Let’s explore each of these options below one by one and see its merits and demerits.

1. NPC in Ballonlea – The first way of getting a Love ball is by talking to the Poke Ball guy at the entrance of Ballanlea Stadium. Whenever you visit new gyms make sure you often speak to the Poké Ball Guys. They always offer you a new Poké Ball.

2. Watt Traders  –  Watt Traders sell a variety of things for Watts in different Wild Areas. These traders usually have Poké Balls in their stock. Though, not all of them may have a Love ball.

3. Trade – This option is very unlikely if you have super mean friends who don’t want to trade easily. However, there are plenty of Facebook groups and Reddit communities for Pokémon Sword & Shield where you can meet like minded people & some willing to even trade.

Below are some links to these communities.

First look at Valorant’s new map ‘Ascent’ revealed

The first live-action glimpse of the new map ‘Ascent’ is revealed. Thanks to a leaked version of the map you can know its accurate location.

Reyna stole the attention with the big reveal, while the reveal of the fourth map, also rumored to be Ascent is now gaining attraction.

Even Riot Games have confirmed that a new map should be coming for launch. Though it’s still uncertain what we can expect. Reyna’s gameplay trailer revealed details about the map.

After looking closely at the map and trailer one can see Reyna starting off by aiming down B-Main. She falls back to Switch after landing the kill on Cypher, taking out Breach.

The full overview of the map Ascent:

Earlier, Riot had teased the map during one of the developer updates.
After cross-referencing the radar in the screenshot of the leaked map, one can find that developers were located in the Defender’s Spawn area.

These all indicate Ascent becoming the next map to be launched. Let’s wait for Riot Games to announce it officially.
