For gamers that were able to get into the massively packed servers, the debut of New World was a great triumph. Everyone else, on the other hand, has been fighting over who has greater patience when it comes to queuing.
Thousands of users have reviewed bombed the game to vent their frustrations as a result of the high queue times. To make matters worse, those who do get in are devising new strategies to avoid having to queue again.
The developers have made every effort to release new servers in waves.
The game’s enormous popularity, on the other hand, has compelled them to do more. They’re also doubling the population cap and offering free server transfers in addition to the new servers.
How to transfer New World servers?
The developers claim that 40% of their live servers now have low or no wait times since adding new servers. Unfortunately, there isn’t presently a means to get to them. You must wait until the above-mentioned date.
If you’re separated in the meanwhile, you can re-roll a character on one of the new servers. However, your previous progress will not be carried over.
The developers have confessed that allowing gamers to switch servers is a “high priority” for them. “We will provide comprehensive information on the transfer process. They stated, “We understand how critical it is.”
When will the free server transfers in New World begin?
New World players are eagerly awaiting the announcement of free server transfers. The developers initially stated that it will come within two weeks of the launch date. It may, however, arrive a little sooner than predicted.
“Our goal is to release this functionality next week,” the developers tweeted on October 1st. If that happens, the free server transfer option will be available before the 8th of October.
It is, however, merely their target date. The developers insisted that the free server transfer feature would only be released after they’d “thoroughly tested and are satisfied it’s ready.” As a result, take the first date with a pinch of salt.
