Welcome to our ‘How To Get The Lunar New Year Skins In Overwatch?’ guide. The 2022 event for Lunar New Year is now underway and Blizzard has included three new Epic skins that can only be won by completing weekly tasks. In this guide we will show you how to get the Lunar New Year skins in Overwatch.
Weekly challenges provide players the opportunity to unlock seasonal skins. These items are only available for a week, so if you miss out, you’re out.
That’s why knowing exactly what to do to overcome these challenges is critical. Weekly challenges will be rewarded for the nine, eighteen and twenty-seven games played, only with wins counted as two. The prerequisites and weekly awards are listed below.
Week One: Prosperity Ashe
- Year of Tiger skins for Week 1 depict Ashe and BOB, with the sniper in all red. BOB is also dressed suitably, with a red waistcoat, a lovely tiny hat, and a slight gold recolor.
- There also is a player icon & spray to pick up in addition to the skin. You’ll need to play a total of 27 games, which are listed below:
- Skullcap Player Icon for nine games
- Spring Couplets Spray for eighteen games
- Prosperity Ashe Skin for twenty-seven games
Week Two: Auspicious Soldier: 76
Soldier: 76 is the next game in the event’s second week. The red & blue of the Auspicious new skin are similar to his standard skin but with a wonderful festive twist. It’s one of the best Epic skin changes we’ve seen yet.

- Practicing Forms Spray for eighteen games
- Auspicious Soldier: 76 Epic Skin for twenty-seven games
Week Three: Porcelain Wrecking Ball
“Porcelain Wrecking Ball”, the third week’s reward, rounds things off. This is a fantastic skin, with complex decorations that make the tank appear like a fine piece of china. Hopefully someday, this new cosmetic won’t lead him to shatter when he collides with something.
Given that we’ll only be getting 5 new skins for 2022, Wrecking Ball jumps to the number one spot on the list.
