Street Fighter’s Cammy and Guile will be the next challengers to enter the Fortnite arena, and they’ll each feature various skins and unique backblings for the legendary fighting game characters.
It appears that no one is immune to the Fortnite metaverse. Epic Games teased that more Street Fighter contestants would be joining the battle royale, and then promptly showed their hand. Only a few months after Ryu and Chun-Li made their Fortnite debuts in early 2021, users will see two more Capcom characters in the game.
People are already clamoring to get their hands on the Chapter 2 Season 7 releases, and they won’t have to wait long to add them to their collections.
Fortnite’s Guile and Cammy Release Date
On August 7 at 5 p.m. PST / 8 p.m. EST, Guile and Cammy will be the next two cosmetics available in the Item Shop.
Guile’s skin will have his traditional green fatigues from Street Fighter II, as well as the ‘Glistening Guile Variant’ and ‘K.O. Backbling.’
Cammy, on the other hand, will have her original Street Fighter attire redesigned to be Fortnite-ready. If they purchase the bundle, players will also receive the Borealis Backer Back Bling and Tactical Cammy Variant in addition to the skin.
The price has yet to be released, although it could be equivalent to Ryu and Chun-respective Li’s launch prices of 1600 and 2200 V-Bucks.
Fortnite Cammy & Guile Gear Bundle
Epic will fill off the cosmetics with the Cammy & Guile Gear Bundle, which includes two pickaxes and a glider, in addition to the two new Street Fighter characters.
To complete the appearance for the characters, the bundle will include Guile’s Knuckle Buster Pickaxe, Cammy’s Delta Red Bowie Blade Pickaxe, and the V-Trigger Vector Glider.
The Cammy & Guile Gear Bundle’s price has yet to be confirmed.
Fortnite Cammy Cup Details
On August 5, gamers who wish to receive the Cammy skin before it hits the Item Shop can enter the Cammy Cup.
The Cammy skin and Borealis Backer Back Bling will be awarded to the top-performing teams in this Duos competition. Anyone who earns 8 points will receive the Round Two Loading Screen in addition to the other prizes.
In ten matches, players will have three hours to gain as many points as possible.
