Players of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl may have a Piloswine and are unsure how to evolve it into a Mamoswine.
The debut of the remakes of Nintendo’s 2006 Pokémon Diamond and Pearl has piqued the interest of both new and long-time Pokémon enthusiasts. As more players capture their favourite Pokémon and progress through the new games, here is a guide to help gamers evolve Piloswine.
Swinub has evolved into Piloswine. Swinub was introduced with Generation IV Pokémon, and all of its evolutions are consistent with its Pokémon type: Ice and Ground. Swinub’s final evolution, Mamoswine, is a woolly mammoth-type Pokémon, reaching 8 feet tall and weighing 641.5 pounds.
How do you evolve Piloswine into Mamoswine in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
In the games, evolving Piloswine to its final evolution, Mamoswine, is quite similar to evolving Pokémon Yanma to Yanmega. Swinub must achieve level 33 in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to develop into Piloswine.
Swinub must learn or know Ancient Power, a Rock-type move, as it evolves into Piloswine. If Piloswine already learns Ancient Power at this stage, it will evolve into Mamoswine the following time it levels up.
Piloswine and Swinub’s base moves will usually feature Ancient Power. Trainers can visit the Move Reminder in Pastoria City if they forget about Ancient Power. Piloswine can re-learn the move in return for a Heart Scale there.
