Welcome to our guide of “Horizon Forbidden West: Choosing Yarra Or Drakka In Gate Of The Vanquished”. During Gate of the Vanquished, two Tenakth leaders battle for control of their tribe. However, Tenakth political resolution usually kills someone. Aloy will explain that not only would the loser be slain but all sides will fight till the end, throughout the region. The inference is that there may be a large death toll, thus there’s a lot at stake.

Choosing Yarra Or Drakka in Gate Of The Vanquished

It’s pretty much right into Gate of the Vanquished quest when you reach at the map point. You can talk to both Yarra as well as Drakka to get their opinions. The simple answer is that both of them believe another is useless, and the only answer is a small civil war.
After you’ve heard them speak, you can do one of the following:
⦁ Yarra’s Side.
⦁ Drakka’s Side.
⦁ You should both take a step back.
The ‘step back’ option, unfortunately, is indeed a red flag. Choosing it will result in Aloy giving a rational and passionate speech about how working together is the best option, which, while right and well-made, will result in the duo thinking that killing is the only way ahead. The only advantage is that you’ll limit the death to a tiny arena conflict rather than the entire tribe.

The good news is that it really doesn’t matter who you choose. It’ll all play out same way, regardless of who is in charge. Making a decision will result in a mini arena battle between you & the side you choose, as well as the opposing side. When you win, the game is done, and the opponent figure is executed.
It’s a choice, then, that has no long-term consequences other than for the person in control. Based on who lived, you can get a later mission either from Yarra or Drakka, but the conversation and goal are the same.

This was all about Choosing Yarra or Drakka in Horizon Forbidden West’s Gate of the Vanquished quest. We hope you liked our ‘Horizon Forbidden West: Choosing Yarra Or Drakka In Gate Of The Vanquished’ guide. Feel free to leave a comment below if you liked our guide.
