Breathing underwater in Horizon Forbidden West
For breathing underwater in Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy will need a Diving Mask, a special gear that offers a constant supply of oxygen and lets the player to remain in deep waters for hours at a time. It’s worth noting that it doesn’t grant you any additional abilities in the water, like the ability to swim faster or wield weapons, but it does provide you a limitless amount of time to find anything you need.
How can you get the West Diving Mask?
The Diving Mask is a particular item of armor that Aloy acquires as an element of Forbidden West’s primary campaign plot. It occurs during Aloy’s mission to find the Poseidon AI inside the Sea of Sands. During this task, Aloy will encounter 3 characters who desire to find something underwater but cannot hold their breath long long, and aren’t exactly men of action. As a result of this, Aloy must go out looking for these crafting assets:
⦁ A Capsule of Compressed Air
⦁ A Machine Knee Cap
⦁ A Synthetic Membrane
These aren’t random stuff laying around and Aloy would not have them on her as they’re contextual crafting items only. So Aloy will have to dismantle several robots to find what she needs. Later Aloy will have to craft the Diving Mask.
